Veterinarian
Our hospital would be great for DVMs of varying interests, as our services include a wide array of preventative medicine, wellness care, dentistry, and surgery. We have a wonderful work environment and a leadership team to support your goals. Our staff is very friendly, collaborative, and considerate. We take pride in our long-standing and dedicated clientele, which allows us to practice quality medicine.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
- Interpret diagnostic results.
- Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
- Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
- Provide counsel around pet end-of-life care.
- Maintain patients’ medical records.
- Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
- Appropriate state licensure.
- Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
- Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Pay Range: $ USD $100,000.00 – USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
Externship
All God’s Creatures Veterinary Hospital was established in 2015 by Dr. Scarlett Timmons and her family with the goal of providing full-service quality veterinary services at an affordable cost. All God’s Creatures specializes in preventative medication, and we are passionate about educating the public on heartworm prevention, vaccination, and spay and neutering. We also are passionate about animal rescue and welcome the local animal rescue groups who need veterinary services.
