Dr. Scarlett Timmons, DVM
Veterinarian
From a young age, Scarlett knew she wanted to work with animals and spent her life preparing to become a veterinarian. Scarlett graduated from Augusta State University with her bachelor’s degree in science and completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia Veterinary School. As she became a veterinarian, her passion focused on helping unwanted and underserved pets, and she works closely with animal rescue groups to provide services for those pets. Her free time is spent caring for her horses and her seven dogs and cats, which are all rescued animals with medical needs.

She graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in the mid-90s with bachelor degrees in both chemistry and legal studies. Katlyn Ellis

Katlyn was born and raised just south of Atlanta. She grew up around large animals and always had a passion for small animals, too. She started pet sitting in high school and became a receptionist at an animal hospital when she moved to Augusta in 2014. Shortly after, she wanted to learn more and started to cross-train to become a technician. In her spare time, you can find her coaching travel volleyball or swinging in a hammock over the river.
